Strength for the Journey
Scripture: “I also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy.” — Colossians 1:11 (NLT)
Reflection
Life’s journey is filled with challenges—whether it’s financial struggles, anxieties about the future, or the daily pressures of responsibility. In these moments, I often feel weak, exhausted, and uncertain about how to move forward. But Paul’s prayer for the Colossians is also a prayer for me today: that I would be strengthened with God’s glorious power, not just to survive but to endure with patience and joy.
💠Strengthened by His Power – My financial situation may be uncertain, but God’s power is not. He promises to strengthen me so I can persevere, trusting that He will provide for my needs in His perfect timing.
💠Endurance Through Every Challenge – There are days when I feel discouraged, especially when things don’t go as planned. But endurance isn’t about having everything figured out—it’s about leaning on God’s strength, not my own.
💠Patience in the Waiting – I sometimes wrestle with waiting on God—for answered prayers, provision, or direction. But patience is part of the process. His delays are never denials; He is working things out for my good.
💠Joy in the Midst of Struggles – True joy isn’t found in perfect circumstances but in a faithful God. Even in financial struggles or personal battles, I can still find joy because God is with me, strengthening me each step of the way.
Application
✔️ Instead of focusing on what I lack, I will pray for God’s strength and trust in His provision.
✔️ I will choose endurance over giving up, reminding myself that God is in control of my journey.
✔️ When I feel impatient, I will surrender my timeline to God, knowing that His plans are always better.
✔️ No matter the situation, I will look for joy, even in small ways, and thank God for His faithfulness.

the answer to my prayers,
but on whom I pray to."
