Living with Integrity

1 Thessalonians 2:10 (NLT)

"You yourselves are our witnesses—and so is God—that we were devout and honest and faultless toward all of you believers."

Reflection

Paul's words are not a boast, but a testimony of integrity. He reminds the Thessalonians that his life matched his message—he wasn’t preaching for personal gain but to glorify God. This challenges me to ask: Does my life reflect my faith?

🔹 Integrity in My Actions – Paul lived in a way that others could see his sincerity. Likewise, my faith shouldn’t be limited to what I say—I must live it out daily. Am I consistent in my words and actions, both in public and private?

🔹 Pleasing God, Not People – It’s easy to seek approval from others, but Paul lived with a focus on pleasing God alone. Am I making choices based on what honors Christ, or am I more concerned about what others think?

🔹 Being a Faithful Witness – Paul was confident that both people and God could see his integrity. What do people see in my life? Do my actions draw them closer to Christ? My goal is not perfection but faithfulness—walking in honesty, humility, and love.

How Does This Apply to Me?

Paul’s words challenge me to examine my own life:
Am I living out my faith with integrity? Do my words and actions match what I believe?
Do I seek to please God rather than people? Am I more concerned about God’s approval or human praise?
Am I a good witness for Christ? When others see my life, do they see a reflection of Christ’s love and truth?

Paul's example reminds me that true holiness is not about boasting—it’s about humility, integrity, and faithfulness in how I live every day.

Application

✔ I will live in a way that reflects Christ’s character, whether seen or unseen.
✔ I will focus on pleasing God rather than seeking human approval.
✔ I will be a faithful witness, letting my actions speak as loudly as my words.
✔ I will ask God to strengthen my integrity in all areas of my life.

Integrity is not about perfection
—it’s about living in a way that honors God in everything I do.
